Task #4 Downloading E Books

PART 1:

So the article I found was Consumer Reports December 2010, "E-Book Readers" - I found the article very interesting. To compete for business as of 2010 - the Amazon Kindle and the Barnes and Noble nook- were selling their readers from the high end of $260.00 to the low end of $140.00.
Then there is the budget wi fi models- where you can buy the nook or the kindle and have wi fi connection at a price cut of $50.00. I think out of what I read, I would like to have the Barnes and Noble nook- it has an easy to read touch screen, it's clear as a printed book page, and of any ereader it has the longest battery life, it can last up to two months on one charge.

PART 2:

Part two of this question is very simple, I would download the over drive application, then go to Mesa County Libraries and then search the catalog for what I would like to listen too- and then I would download the item and away I would go.

  3. Hiya--you actually only need the Adobe Digital Editions software for ebooks; OverDrive software is for Audiobooks, music and video :)
